Twitter in the Classroom

October 10, 2017 | 12:00 am - 11:59 pm | Twitter

Explore how Twitter can be used in the classroom. We’ll spend two weeks using Twitter in ways that you can take into the classroom, and as the medium for discussion and reflection.

This online event is part of a year-long series on social media in the classroom. Weren’t able to attend the kick-off event? Join our group on the CUNY Academic Commons for a virtual orientation to the series.

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Social media is all around us. Could it have a place in the classroom? How can we engage students through social media? Join us for the kick-off of this series, in which we explore a range of social media tools and discuss their use in the classroom.

October 10 – 24: Twitter in the Classroom

November 6 – 19: Facebook in the Classroom

Spring 2018: Instagram, Pinterest, and Slack in the Classroom
