The SafeZone Ally Training is a two hour training that focuses on LGBTQ issues and the role of the allies. The training is provided to faculty and staff who are then able to foster an atmosphere of acceptance and inclusivity. The participants of the training receive a comprehensive overview of Safe Zone programs, gain a better understanding of personal biases, the importance of common language, setting boundaries and what is safe.

This training will be facilitated by Michael McGee (Health Education) and Victoria Apostol-Marius (Women’s Resource Center), and is co-sponsored by CETLS and the Women’s Resource Center.

Please contact Victoria Apostol-Marius for more information, or to RSVP.
