Description
Over the last few months, you may have noticed new icons next to content in your Blackboard courses. These icons are generated by a new tool, Blackboard Ally, which was activated by CUNY earlier this year. Ally helps instructors improve the accessibility of their courses by flagging items that do not meet accessibility guidelines and providing instructions for steps to make those items more accessible. In this workshop, we will discuss how Ally works and look at commonly flagged items. You’ll leave with an understanding of how to use the tool to improve accessibility in your own courses.
