At the end of a long year of teaching, it’s important to remind ourselves that love and joy can always be at the center of our work as educators. For this informal discussion, participants will reflect on an interview with Dr. Gholdy Muhammad about her book Unearthing Joy: A Guide to Culturally and Historically Responsive Curriculum and Instruction. Participants can prepare for the session by listening to the Integrated Schools podcast interview from 4/30/2025 with Dr. Muhammad (find the recording on their website or wherever you get your podcasts). Come ready to share your reflections on how joy and love can live in our work at BMCC.
