Description
Calling all BMCC researchers! The scholarly publishing ecosystem is in flux. Commercial publishers prioritizing profits continue to curtail access to the research you need to read as well as to the research you publish, limiting the reach of your work. Fortunately, open access publishing also continues to grow! And now AI is part of the messy mix. Join colleagues from the Library and CETLS Scholarship group to:

  • hear a brief overview of where scholarly publishing is and where it’s going,
  • share your own research publishing experiences,
  • get answers to your burning questions about publishing your scholarship,
  • provide input on future sessions.
This is the first in a BMCC-specific scholarly publishing series which will complement upcoming CUNY-wide events. Can’t make it? Provide your input and ask questions using this form.
