We’ll discuss Professor Nkechi Agwu’s ethnomathematics project on culture and women’s stories as a framework for capacity building in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This project, undertaken in collaboration with the National Mathematics Centre in Abuha, Nigeria, focused on promoting gender equity and empowerment, and fostering entrepreneurship skills.
