Join us Friday 9/21 from 2-3pm in S341 for an overview of the Excelsior Online Writing Lab (OWL) and a hands-on workshop (laptops provided!) geared towards faculty, writing tutors, and anyone interested in supporting writing and/or reading assignments across the curriculum in traditional, online, and hybrid courses.

The Excelsior Online Writing Lab (OWL) is an award-winning, free college-level resource for writing and reading. It utilizes interactive multimedia—videos, slideshows, PDF handouts, quizzes, activities, and games—to engage students and improve learning. It can be used to supplement your curriculum, as a free textbook alternative that can be customized to your needs, or as a self-paced learning resource for students to access themselves outside the classroom.
