Description
This panel will discuss the opportunities, benefits, and challenges in the publication of both traditional and Open Educational Resource material and explore what is happening nationally with OER texts through faculty-driven initiatives at organizations such as Rebus, OpenTextbook network and Openstax. The panelists will draw implications of textbook publication relating to BMCC’s drift in favor of OER texts.
