Description
Throughout history, the classical and capitalist models of higher education have been at odds. With every technological advancement (i.e., internet, essay writing scribes, ChatGPT, etc.) the challenges of fostering philosophical viewpoints for educational growth have accelerated. However, these conversations are largely circumvented due to resource limitations and extrinsic stressors. The aim of this round table discussion is to amass perspectives from BMCC faculty to promote dialogue with students and faculty that leads to didactic practices and learning outcomes that complement, not oppose, technological and societal adaptation.
