Description

We’ve all heard a lot about student use of AI, but have you considered using AI for your own work? In this session, BMCC faculty members will share how they have used generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to help them create course materials. Uses discussed will include:

  • creating science lab manuals
  • generating drafts of lesson plans
  • summarizing YouTube video transcripts
  • revamping classroom activities from in-person to online
  • refreshing assignments by adding new layers and information

Faculty will share tips about how to use generative AI effectively and will discuss pitfalls and challenges encountered.
