But the benefits to you and your students can be worth that effort through a clear vision for the course, objective-driven assessment and grading criteria, and efficiency of time spent on class.
This session will cover:
• The backwards design process
• Opportunities for choice and flexibility within courses
• Teaching tools, such as rubrics, assignment design, and discussion topic choices
The webinar will be followed by 30 minutes of discussion lead by Anthony Bishop, Assistant Professor, BMCC Library.
This webinar is part of the Blackboard Innovate Teaching Series, and will be led by Karen Bellnier, Director of Instructional Technology & Online Learning, Community College of Rhode Island.
Please RSVP to cetls@bmcc.cuny.edu.
