Description
Brightspace offers several rule-based tools that enable you to manage when content is displayed and to automatically email students based on their activity or an achievement in the course. In this session, we’ll see how faculty are using “release conditions” to ensure that students complete specific activities before gaining access to the next activity. We’ll also look at how faculty are using “intelligent agents” to automatically email students based on their specific actions, in-actions, or achievements. We’ll answer questions about how these tools work and brainstorm other potential uses for your classes.
The Brightspace Bistro is a space for BMCC faculty to share experiences with and tips about using Brightspace. Let’s learn together about how to make the best use of this new platform! CETLS and Digital Education staff will be on hand to provide support and answer questions.
