Description
Learn how two BMCC faculty members are using Brightspace “awards” to motivate students and recognize student coursework. The awards tool enables faculty to create badges and certificates that can be awarded to students when they complete work or exceed a particular score on an assignment. Karlene and Burt will talk about why they decided to use Brightspace awards and how they work in their courses. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and to brainstorm how you might use awards in your courses.

The Brightspace Bistro is a space for BMCC faculty to share experiences with and tips about using Brightspace. Let’s learn together about how to make the best use of this new platform! CETLS and Digital Education staff will be on hand to provide support and answer questions.
