Description
In BMCC halls and zoom rooms, we often hear staff and faculty bemoaning unread informational brochures, syllabi, assignments, and other college documents. These tales aren’t new, but our complaints are getting old. Ready to try something different? In this session, we’ll introduce zines as a medium for communicating with students. After a brief intro and opening up for conversation, participants will begin making their own zines. Bring a document (e.g., brochure, syllabus, assignment, informational handout) to transform into a zine, or bring ideas to start from scratch!
