Using Artificial Intelligence in Teaching: Laboratory Work on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in an Astronomy Class for Non Science Students
Presented by Vasiliy Znamenskiy

This project aims to see how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to teach astronomy to students who don’t have a science background. The main focus is to create and use lab activities that use AI tools and methods to make learning more fun and engaging. By using AI, the project wants to help students better understand complex ideas in astronomy and enjoy learning.

Seeds & Son Huasteco
Presented by Mary Teresa Giancoli

Son Huasteco is a form of Song and Dance from the Huasteca area of Central Mexico that I discovered in Cuetzalan, Puebla, and again by following Mexican folkloric dance companies performing across New York City. My work is with documentation with film and video in analog and digital formats. I was recently awarded a Queens Council on the Arts New Works Grant. Additionally, it was screened in Pietrasanta, Italy, and at the Culture Lab in Queens.
