Description

Join us for a low-key event that will help set up summer supports for research and writing. We will focus on the two strategies, writing groups and summer planning, that can aid in developing and working towards our summer goals.

  1. Writing groups: Are you interested in finding out about writing group structures (including accountability, writing practice and critique) and finding other faculty to connect with? We will go over the different types of groups and give participants a chance to form groups of whatever size and type for the summer.
  2. Summer planning: Do you need to map and create a schedule for your summer writing and research goals? We’ll create a plan by developing workable goals, breaking these down into steps and mapping a schedule for the summer.

This event is not prescriptive. Rather, our aim is to bring faculty together and provide a space in which we can all spend some time thinking about and setting up our summer in ways that work for our individual needs.

Can’t make the event? You can also propose or sign up for a writing group on this Padlet.
