Open/Alternative Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials that are available at no cost. Many faculty at BMCC are adopting OERs for their face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes. In this session, faculty will share their experiences creating and implementing OER for their online and hybrid courses. We will discuss how online teaching and OERs can work together, and will consider advantages, disadvantages, and future plans.

This series is a collaboration between CETLS and E-Learning. Join us the second Wednesday of each month for a discussion about topics related to teaching and learning online.

Can’t join us in person? Join us via web conference at https://zoom.us/j/536935750
