Description
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll introduce OpenLab, BMCC’s new online space for teaching and learning, collaborating on projects, and sharing portfolios. Brainstorm ideas for how you and your students can create knowledge and community in this space.

During the first hour of the workshop, we’ll share how OpenLab is being used at BMCC and CityTech and consider how you might use it an instructor, researcher, or member of the BMCC community. If you’ve already attended an OpenLab workshop in Fall 2019, this part will be familiar. You are welcome to attend or to arrive at 2:30 for the hands-on portion of the workshop.

During the second two hours of the workshop, we’ll dive into OpenLab and introduce WordPress. You’ll start to create a collaborative space in OpenLab and will leave with foundational knowledge about how to use OpenLab and WordPress to accomplish your goals.
