The Philosophy FIG plans to meet on Fri., Nov. 15. We will discuss two readings:

“Introduction” of Towards a Philosophy of Real Mathematics, by David Corfield.

“Monumental Proof Settles Geometric Langlands Conjecture” (Quanta Magazine)
Open to all interested BMCC faculty and staff.
The Philosophy FIG focuses on all traditions and sub-disciplines philosophy and welcomes all BMCC faculty and staff who wish to read, discuss, and present works in philosophy. The goal of this FIG is to keep track of the recent production in the field of philosophy, discuss interesting or important arguments by contemporary or classic philosophers, as well as to engage in members’ cooperation on philosophy projects currently in development by the BMCC faculty.
