Description
How should faculty deal with the ever-growing presence of AI in education? Should we embrace it wholeheartedly or restrict its use in the classroom? Join us for a discussion focused on three possible models of engaging with AI in the classroom: Prohibitive, Deterrent, and Integrative model. The first model emphasizes restrictions on the use of AI, the second one focuses on shaping the assignments to deter students from using it, and the third one actively integrates AI into the assignments. Presenters will describe these models and showcase some examples, and then open the discussion to hear from faculty which models and examples they have used in the classroom.
