John Beaumont, Faculty Director
John is an Associate Professor in the Academic Literacy and Linguistics Department. He served on the ad hoc committee that formed the BMCC Teaching Academy (now the Teaching Collaboratory) in 2014 and is the faculty director of the program. His professional interests include faculty development, teacher observation and feedback, classroom practices and materials development, and SoTL research.
Gina Cherry, CETLS Director
Gina has been the director of BMCC’s Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Scholarship since 2016. She has worked in higher education for more than 15 years, bringing experience from a variety of roles, including educational technologist, researcher, and faculty member.
