Description
The CETLS Scholarship Working Group invites you to join us for a year-long, academic co-writing series:
Part I – Fresh Start in the Fall
Zoom meetings Wednesday, Oct 25th and Wednesday, November 15th 9:30-11:00 AM.
It’s time to fall into great writing habits! Maybe you wanted to join the Hot Goal Summer but stumbled due to the sweltering heat? Maybe you have ten ideas but decided to revamp with a major project makeover? ( Hey, that’s me!) Our Fresh Start in the Fall is a no judgment writing space that will meet twice on Zoom – Oct 25th and November 15th from 9:30-11:00 AM. While we will open a few breakout sessions to explore common interests based on writing styles or co-writing needs, the vibe is casual. Feel free to join us as you brainstorm, organize project ideas, or just carve out bits of quiet writing time.
Part II – Spring Warm-up
in-person meetings Main Campus Faculty and Staff Lounge, Room S-344 Wednesdays Feb 7, Mar 6, and Apr 17 9:30-11:00 AM.
The Spring Warm-up in-person meetings are designed to help us truly meet (Oh, wait, who was that on Zoom?) and foster collaborative working groups for a productive Hot Goal Summer. Oh, no! I teach online on Wednesdays. Bummer! We have three Zoom meetings for anyone who would like to continue writing (or collaborating) online Wednesdays Feb 28, Mar 13, and Apr 10 9:30-11:00 AM.
Part III – Hot Goal Summer
Zoom TBD Wednesdays 10:00-11:30 AM
To keep the Spring Warm-up momentum going, we plan to schedule a Zoom kick-off event. Although being productive may get you hot and bothered, support in-kind from the respective working groups should mellow those more than balmy days with a pleasant breeze. Stay tuned and join us to keep cool!
